Hey, Would You Like To See Our House?

Every once in a while we pinch ourselves to make sure we are not dreaming! We are well into our first trimester of language training in preparation for our ministry in Ecuador.  Our schedules are packed, our days seem short and by the evening our heads are usually hurting.  It is a glorious busyness!  We are learning so much and we are greatful for the opportunity to run full out in this time of preparation.

We have been meaning to post a little about our home and finely had the time to record a short tour of our house.

Our liveing arrangements are perfect for us during this time of preparation!  Our house is cozy and comfortable.  We are greatful to be within walking distance of several parks with playgrounds.  One local park has a farmers market every Saturaday morning which has added much excitement to our lives.

In addition to the farmer’s market a man comes around every few days selling eggs and tamales.  Tamale day is always a good day at the Downing household!

Thank you for your prayers and support, we are able to do what we are doing only by your generous support.  The stress of language learning is lessened when we think of your prayers and the joy of living here is heightened knowing that we are loved from afar.
