And Mary gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

Doctor Luke, Luke 2:7

On the very first Christmas there was no room given to Christ. Unfortunately many today still seem to have no room for Jesus in their hearts. This is unfortunate because everyone has a hole in their heart that only a relationship with Christ can fill.

One wise Christian addressed the following words to God, “You have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless, until they can find rest in you.” The way to find peace this Christmas is to make room for Christ in your heart. Put him first and all else will fall into its proper place.

Our hope for you today is that you make room for Jesus. Put him first, then fit the other things in your life around him.

Joy To The World! The Lord Is Come!

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King!
Let ev’ry heart prepare Him room,
and heav’n and nature sing,
and heav’n and nature sing,
and heav’n, and heav’n and nature sing.

Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ,
while fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains
repeat the sounding joy,
repeat the sounding joy,
repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
far as the curse is found,
far as the curse is found,
far as, far as the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
and makes the nations prove
the glories of His righteousness
and wonders of His love,
and wonders of His love,
and wonders, wonders of His love.

Wtih much love,AE4CC7DA-43B8-4EB7-BAB4-3FE9CA162129 The Downings
