O Spirit of the Living God, Thou who hovered over the waters at creation’s dawn,
The same power that spoke light into being,
That breathed life into the dust of Adam,
Now indwells the temple of our fragile frames.
How wondrous the thought, how humbling the truth,
That the very essence of Him who conquered death
Should make His abode within our hearts,
Transforming these vessels of clay into sanctuaries of the Most High.
Consider, dear saints, the magnitude of this promise:
The Spirit that raised our Lord Jesus from the cold embrace of the tomb
Now pulses through our veins, quickening our mortal flesh,
A foretaste of the resurrection glory yet to come.
In the garden of Gethsemane, our Savior’s sweat fell like drops of blood,
His humanity wrestling with the cup of divine wrath,
Yet it was through the eternal Spirit that He offered Himself unblemished to God,
And by that same Spirit, He burst forth from death’s dark dominion.
Oh, that we might apprehend the fullness of this truth!
For if such power resides within us, what then shall we fear?
Neither tribulation, nor distress, nor persecution,
Nor famine, nor nakedness, nor peril, nor sword shall separate us from His love.
In our weakness, His strength is perfected,
In our frailty, His power is magnified,
For these earthen vessels contain a treasure beyond compare,
The very life of God, pulsating with resurrection power.
Let us then yield ourselves fully to His indwelling presence,
Allowing the Spirit to mortify the deeds of the flesh,
To conform us to the image of the Son,
That we might walk in newness of life, even now.
For though outwardly we may be wasting away,
Inwardly we are being renewed day by day,
Our light and momentary troubles achieving for us
An eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
O weary pilgrim, lift up your eyes to the hills,
From whence cometh your help,
For the same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead
Shall also quicken your mortal body.
In the valley of dry bones, Ezekiel prophesied,
And behold, a rattling, as bone came to bone,
Sinews and flesh appeared, and breath entered the slain,
A mighty army, risen by the Spirit’s power.
So too shall it be with us, when the trumpet sounds,
And the dead in Christ shall rise first,
These corruptible bodies putting on incorruption,
These mortal frames clothed with immortality.
Until that glorious day, let us walk by faith, not by sight,
Knowing that He who began a good work in us
Will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus,
For faithful is He who called us, and He will surely do it.
Therefore, beloved, stand firm in the grace that is ours in Christ,
Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid,
For greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world,
And if God be for us, who can be against us?
In every trial, in every tribulation, remember this sacred truth:
The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you,
A wellspring of life, a fountain of hope, a river of peace,
Flowing from the throne of grace to the parched soil of our souls.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
That you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit,
Until at last we see Him face to face, and know as we are fully known,
In the eternal effulgence of His glorious presence. Amen.

Would rather have god on my side then anyone else. We serve a mighty god
