Looking Towards Perú: The RLC School

As we eagerly anticipate our upcoming mission trip to Perú, we invite you to join us on the mission path that God has graciously laid before us. In the days leading up to our departure, we will be sharing various prayer opportunities, allowing you to actively participate in this transformative journey, even from afar. By lifting up our mission in prayer, you become an integral part of the work God is doing through us, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.

Today, we would like to introduce you to the Roma Lee Courvisier Christian school, a beacon of hope and faith in Reque, Perú. This remarkable institution, founded by Latin America Children’s Fund, is dedicated to providing quality education and spiritual nurturing to children in the community. The school’s commitment to academic excellence and character development is truly inspiring, and we feel privileged to have the opportunity to visit and serve alongside them.

At the heart of this school are Ken and Maria Biron, two faithful servants of Christ who have devoted their lives to making a difference in the lives of these precious children. Their unwavering dedication and selfless love are a testament to the power of God’s grace and the impact that one life, fully surrendered to Him, can have on countless others. As we prepare for our mission, we invite you to pray for Ken and Maria, asking God to sustain them with His strength, wisdom, and joy. May He bless their health, their family, and their ministry, and may they continue to be a shining example of Christ’s love to all those they serve.

We also ask that you lift up the teachers of the Roma Lee Courvisier Christian school in prayer. These dedicated educators play a crucial role in shaping the minds and hearts of their students, not only imparting knowledge but also modeling Christlike character and values. Pray that God would grant them patience, creativity, and discernment as they navigate the challenges and opportunities of each day. May they find renewed strength and inspiration in the knowledge that their work is making an eternal impact, and may they experience the joy of seeing their students grow in wisdom and faith.

Of course, we cannot forget the students themselves, the precious children who fill the classrooms and corridors of this school with their laughter, curiosity, and potential. Each one of these young lives is a unique and valuable creation of God, with a special purpose and destiny that only He can fully know. As we prepare to interact with these children during our mission trip, we invite you to pray that their hearts would be open to the love and truth of the Gospel. May they encounter the transforming power of Christ in a personal and meaningful way, and may they be equipped and empowered to become the leaders, innovators, and world-changers that God has called them to be.

Finally, we ask that you extend your prayers to the families of these students, recognizing that their home lives play a significant role in shaping their growth and development. Pray that God would bless these families with His provision, protection, and peace, and that He would use the witness of the school to draw them closer to Himself. May these families experience the love and support of the Body of Christ, and may they find hope and healing in the midst of any challenges they may face.

As you commit to praying for the Roma Lee Courvisier Christian school, Ken and Maria Biron, the teachers, students, and their families, know that you are an essential part of our mission team. Your prayers are the fuel that will propel us forward, and we are deeply grateful for your partnership in this kingdom work. Together, as we unite our hearts in prayer and our hands in service, we can trust that God will do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine, according to His power at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).

So let us approach this mission with expectant faith and joyful anticipation, knowing that as we step out in obedience, God will be faithful to guide, provide, and transform lives for His glory. May our prayers and our actions be a fragrant offering to Him, and may we have the privilege of seeing His kingdom come and His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Thank you for joining us on this mission path, for your prayers are a vital part of the work God is doing in Ecuador and Perú. Together, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and trust in His perfect plan for the Roma Lee Courvisier Christian school and all those connected to it. May His name be glorified, and may His love be made known through every step of this journey.
