Looking Towards Perú: The Breiel Church

In this season of anticipation and preparation for our upcoming mission trip to Perú, we invite you to join us on the path that God has set before us. Over the coming days, we will be sharing various prayer opportunities, allowing you to participate in this divine journey. Today, we want to introduce you to a key partner in this mission: the Breiel Church.

The Breiel Church, located in Middletown, Ohio, is a beacon of faith and unity. Their mission statement, “Inspiring people to Love, Live, and Lead like Jesus to change the world,” encapsulates their heart for serving God and reaching the lost. This is a church that truly embodies the spirit of the Great Commission, following the pattern set forth by Jesus Christ in Acts 1:8, which calls us to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

In a beautiful display of Christian unity, the Breiel Church extended an invitation to the Ecuadorian church to join them on their mission trip to Perú. This act of partnership and collaboration exemplifies the love and unity that Christ desires for His Church. It is a testament to the fact that we are stronger together, and that when we unite under the banner of Christ, we can make a significant impact for the Kingdom.

As we prepare for this mission, we ask that you keep the Breiel Church in your prayers. Please pray for Pastor Hammer and the entire leadership team, that God would grant them wisdom, strength, and guidance as they lead their congregation and prepare for this mission. Pray that the Lord would bless their efforts and that they would see fruit from their labors.

We also ask that you pray for God’s favor to rest upon all of their endeavors. The Breiel Church is actively involved in their local community, offering various ministries and outreach programs. They have a thriving children’s ministry, a dynamic youth group (BYM), a vibrant young adults community, and an active 55+ group. They also emphasize the importance of small groups, recognizing that life change happens best in the context of relationships. Pray that God would continue to use these ministries to touch lives, transform hearts, and draw people closer to Himself.

Furthermore, please lift up the mission team to the throne room of grace. These individuals have answered the call to go and serve, and they need our prayers and support. Pray for their safety as they travel, for their health and strength during the mission, and for their effectiveness in ministry. Pray that God would use them mightily to impact lives and advance His Kingdom in Perú.

The Breiel Church has a long-standing relationship with the Roma Lee Courvisier Christian School in Perú. This school has been upholding the light if Christ in the community, providing quality education and spiritual guidance to children and youth. Please pray for this school, for the teachers and staff, and for the students. Pray that God would continue to use this school to shape the next generation of leaders and world-changers.

As you pray, know that you are an integral part of this mission. Your prayers are powerful and effective, and they are a vital component of the work that God is doing in the United States, Ecuador, and Perú. When you pray, you are joining us on our mission path, standing with us in faith, and believing for God to move in mighty ways.

In closing, we want to encourage you with these words from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” As we move forward in this mission, let us do so with joy, with perseverance in prayer, and with gratitude for all that God is doing.

Thank you for your partnership, your prayers, and your support. Together, we are making a difference for the Kingdom of God. Let us continue to look towards Perú with anticipation and expectation, knowing that God is going to do great and mighty things.

May God bless you abundantly as you join us on this mission path.
