Friends, after living a blessed and full life, Timothy’s father, Cordell Downing breathed his last. He followed Jesus in this life, followed Him through the valley of the shadow of death and into the eternal presence of our Creator.
He passed away on the first day of September. His funeral was on September 6, 2023.
Here is Cordell’s last message to the Church that he loved.

What a legacy! Well done faithful servant. Rest in the arms of the one you loved so well.
What a joy to know Cordell and Darlene. To watch them as they served their Father. Your legacy goes on here and someday we will see you there. Praying for all of the family. How blessed you were to have such an example.
