Dear Friends and Faithful Partners in Ministry,
We are excited to invite you to pray for our upcoming seminary class this Saturday. Your spiritual support is invaluable as we embark on this journey of learning and growth together.
This week, we will delve into the profound teachings of the Book of Hebrews. Our students will have the opportunity to explore the rich tapestry of this epistle, uncovering its timeless wisdom and relevance to our faith today. We invite you to join us in spirit for a five-hour session filled with elucidation, fellowship, and spiritual growth.
We are deeply grateful for our ministry partners whose unwavering commitment makes this program possible. Your dedication to supporting theological education is truly making a difference in the lives of our students and, by extension, in the communities they will serve.
To enhance their learning experience, each student will receive a copy of “Shadows and Substance,” a thoughtful commentary and reflection on the Book of Hebrews. This resource will serve as a valuable guide throughout their studies and beyond.
We value the time spent in fellowship and community, recognizing that spiritual growth often happens in the context of relationships. As such, we will be concluding our class with a shared meal together, providing an opportunity for students to discuss and reflect on what they’ve learned.
We humbly ask for your prayers for our class, that it may be a time of profound learning, personal growth, and deepened faith. Please pray for:
- Open hearts and minds among our students
- Wisdom and clarity for our instructors
- A spirit of unity and mutual encouragement
- Practical application of the truths learned
- Safe travels for all participants
Your prayers are a vital part of this ministry, and we are thankful for your partnership in this sacred work. As you lift us up in prayer, know that you are playing an essential role in equipping future leaders and ministers of the Gospel.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers as we embark on this enriching journey together. May God bless you abundantly for your faithfulness and generosity.
In Christ’s love and service,
Timothy Downing
Missionary Director of the Church of God Seminary in Quito, Ecuador
P.S. If you feel led to support our seminary in other ways, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Every contribution, whether through prayer, financial support, or volunteering, helps us in our mission to train and equip servants of Christ.
