Devotion 4: Unity in Reque’s Community

Beloved in Christ, let us consider the words of the Apostle Paul, who beautifully portrays the unity of the Church: “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ” (1 Corinthians 12:12-14). In this sacred truth, we find a divine call to unity as we serve the precious community of Reque.

Just as our Lord values oneness in His Body, so too should we strive for harmony in our mission at the Roma Lee Courvisier School. Though our tasks may differ—from the labor of construction to the joy of Vacation Bible School and the compassion of family outreach—we are united in purpose, serving as one to honor Christ.

As you go about your work, dear brothers and sisters, seek unity not only among your own team but also with the beloved staff and students of the school. In the shared toil of building, let your hands work as one, a testament to the unity Christ desires. As you encourage one another, let your words be as threads, weaving together a tapestry of love and fellowship.

Let us lift our voices in united prayer: Almighty Father, we come before You as one Body, beseeching Your blessing upon our efforts in Reque. Unite our hearts with those of the precious community we serve, that together we may be a living reflection of Your love. Grant harmony to the staff of the Roma Lee Courvisier School, that they may labor as one in the noble task of educating for Your Kingdom. May our unity be a light that draws many to the hope found in Christ alone. We pray in the name of Jesus, our cornerstone. Amen.
