Dearly beloved, let us take comfort in the words of the Apostle Paul, who encourages us, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9). In this promise, we find the strength to persevere in our labors for the Lord, knowing that He will bring forth fruit in His appointed season.
As we look upon the work of the Roma Lee Courvisier School, we see a living testament to this truth. Through the faithful planting of seeds—seeds of faith, hope, and love—we behold the green shoots of new life springing up in the hearts of the students. These young souls, once lost in the darkness of a fallen world, are being transformed by the light of Christ, growing into the leaders and servants that the Kingdom of God so desperately needs.
And you, dear friends, have been called to be co-laborers in this great harvest. Through your selfless acts of construction, your joyful service in Vacation Bible School, and your loving outreach to the community, you are sowing seeds that will bear eternal fruit. Each hammer swing, each Bible story shared, each smile given—these are the small acts of faithfulness that God will multiply for His glory.
Take a moment to reflect on the seeds you have planted during your time in Reque. Perhaps it was a word of encouragement spoken to a child during VBS, or a silent prayer offered as you laid the foundation of a new classroom. Whatever form your service has taken, trust that the Lord of the Harvest will bring forth an abundance from even the smallest seed.
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we give thanks for the harvest that You are bringing forth in Reque. We praise You for the work You are doing in the lives of the students at the Roma Lee Courvisier School, and we ask that You would continue to guide them as they grow into the Kingdom leaders You have called them to be. Sustain our team’s efforts, O Lord, and grant us the strength to persevere in doing good, knowing that in due time, we will reap a harvest of righteousness. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
