Faith, Finance, and Furrows: Stewardship and Strategy

As we embark on the first phase of farm development, we are excited to share the financial strategy and funding required to bring this vision to fruition. Drawing from the wisdom of Proverbs 16:3, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established,” we approach this endeavor with a deep trust in God’s provision and guidance.

Our plan for the property acquisition demonstrates both practical wisdom and faith. By allocating our existing housing budget towards the farm purchase through a long-term payment plan, we are strategically utilizing the resources God has already entrusted to us. This approach reflects the principle of stewardship, as we seek to maximize the impact of every dollar for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

As we transition into hase one of development, we are relying on the power of prayer-based fundraising. This decision is rooted in the conviction that God is the ultimate provider for His work. Just as George Müller, the renowned 19th-century Christian evangelist and director of the Ashley Down orphanage in Bristol, England, relied on prayer to meet the needs of thousands of orphans, we too are prayerfully seeking God’s provision for the necessary resources.

The budget overview for Phase One development reveals the scope of our faith and the magnitude of the task before us. With ten Bunky Cabins totaling $80,000, a classroom at $8,500, a shelter at $5,000, and a shower house at $24,000, we are stepping out in obedience, trusting that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

In the face of these financial challenges, we draw inspiration from the words of William Carey, the pioneering missionary to India, who declared, “Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God.” Our commitment to prayer-based fundraising is not a passive resignation but an active partnership with the Almighty. We are expectant, knowing that God delights in using ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary feats for His glory.

As we move forward with Phase One farm development, let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Our primary focus must remain on the advancement of God’s Kingdom, trusting that He will provide the necessary resources in His perfect timing.

This approach to financial strategy and funding allows us to strategically utilize our current resources while trusting in Divine guidance and supply for the expansion of our ministry facilities. It is a testament to the faith of all who join us along our mission patth and a reflection of our commitment to being good stewards of all that God has entrusted to us.

As we labor together in this noble cause, let us be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul in Galatians 6:9, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” May we persevere in faith, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Together, let us press on towards the goal, confident that God will supply all our needs and bring to completion the good work He has begun in us (Philippians 1:6).
