A Season of Grateful Celebration

We are overflowing with gratitude as we witness God’s provision unfolding on our new farm property! After months of planning, prayer, and preparation, we’re thrilled to share that construction has officially begun on what will become a transformative ministry center in the heart of Ecuador.

Our vision for this 7-hectare farm, nestled in a fertile volcanic crater near Quito, is taking tangible shape before our eyes. This land will serve as a vibrant hub for spiritual formation, pastoral retreats, seminary events, and our expanded emergency food ministry through sustainable agriculture, animal husbandry, and permaculture practices. The excitement of moving from blueprints to breaking ground fills our hearts with praise!

Celebrating Recent Milestones

New Cabin Construction Underway

We have joyfully begun construction on one of our pastoral retreat cabins! These humble yet welcoming spaces will soon provide sanctuary for pastors, church groups, and individuals seeking spiritual renewal. Each cabin represents not just shelter, but a place where God’s people can find rest, restoration, and deeper connection with Him.

Essential Infrastructure Coming Together

One of our biggest celebrations this season has been successfully connecting water to the existing cabin on the property—a vital step  toward making our retreat center fully functional. Clean, reliable water access opens doors for hosting guests and supporting our growing agricultural efforts.

Our next major infrastructure milestone is the planned solar power installation, which will advance our goal of sustainable, off-grid readiness. This renewable energy system will demonstrate faithful stewardship while ensuring reliable power for ministry activities.

Natural Land Preparation

Our hardworking goats and llamas are doing an excellent job clearing brush naturally and gently across the property. We praise God for these faithful animals and their contribution to preparing the land. Watching them work reminds us that “One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts” (Psalm 145:4)—even creation itself participates in God’s unfolding purposes!

Looking Ahead with Hope

While we celebrate these milestones, we also look ahead with anticipation at the work still before us. To accelerate our infrastructure improvements and clear invasive trees more efficiently, our next major need is purchasing a tractor. This equipment will be instrumental in preparing the land for expanded agricultural and pastoral use.

Better land preparation will unlock the full potential of our vision: more extensive animal husbandry, thriving permaculture gardens, and the complete development of our retreat facilities. We envision ten bunky-style cabins, dedicated meeting spaces, a community kitchen, and all the amenities needed to host transformative ministry events that will strengthen the Church of God throughout Ecuador.

A Heart of Gratitude and Vision

Our hearts overflow with thanksgiving to our ministry partners, prayer partners, and the entire community that has made this progress possible. Through your faithful partnership, we’re not only building infrastructure—we’re expanding pathways for emergency food support, creating space for life-changing conferences and camp meetings, and investing in the next generation of Christian leaders in Ecuador.

This farm represents more than buildings and crops; it’s a testament to faithful stewardship and generational discipleship. As we work this land, we’re reminded that we are co-laborers with God in His kingdom work, planting seeds that will bear fruit for decades to come.
