A Joyful Celebration of God’s Provision
We rejoice to share that, through the rapid and generous response of our Mission Quest partners, the funds for a much-needed dual-purpose motorcycle have been provided! Our hearts overflow with gratitude to Mission Quest and the broader community of ministry supporters who have donated through them and once again demonstrated the faithful love of Christ through their partnership with our work in Ecuador.
The Need That Called for Creative Solutions
Ministry in Ecuador’s rural mountains has become increasingly challenging over recent months. Deteriorating mountain roads, rising fuel costs that have increased by 70%, and growing security concerns have made it difficult to reach our isolated congregations—over 340 believers and families who depend on pastoral care and encouragement. Many of these precious brothers and sisters live in remote areas where our trucks simply cannot navigate the narrow, winding paths.
The dual-sport motorcycle represents both practical wisdom and faithful stewardship. With its excellent fuel efficiency of 60-80 miles per gallon, discretion for security purposes, and ability to access areas where other vehicles cannot go, this motorcycle will enable us to answer the call of the Good Shepherd in John 10—to seek out and care for every sheep, no matter how remote their location. Throughout church history, effective ministry has required adaptive approaches to reach people where they are.
Humbled by Generous Partnership
We are humbled and deeply grateful to Mission Quest for their quick action and trust in releasing the funds from our account (#173). Their confidence in our ministry and their willingness to act swiftly demonstrates the kind of partnership that makes kingdom work possible even in challenging circumstances.
Our Ministry partners’ generosity allows us to continue serving rural congregations who might otherwise feel forgotten by the broader church. God has once again shown His faithfulness through His people, providing exactly what we needed at precisely the right time. We pledge to use this motorcycle wisely for years of faithful service, knowing that each mile traveled represents your investment in strengthening the Church of God in Ecuador.
Kingdom Impact on the Horizon
This motorcycle will make an immediate and lasting difference in our ministry effectiveness. Sustained pastoral visits will now be possible regardless of road conditions, bringing encouragement and spiritual care to isolated believers. Most importantly, it demonstrates to our rural congregations that the broader Church has not forgotten them—that their spiritual welfare matters deeply to God’s people around the world.
