Beloved in Christ, let us find strength in the promise of our Lord, who declared, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). In this assurance, we find the very heartbeat of our mission in Reque, a sacred calling to bear witness to the transformative love of God.
It is the Holy Spirit, the very breath of the Almighty, that empowers the Roma Lee Courvisier School’s noble cause and infuses our team’s efforts with divine purpose. As you step forth to lead Vacation Bible School and engage in community outreach, know that you do not go alone; you are carried on the wings of the Spirit, each word and deed anointed with His power.
Before every VBS session, before each opportunity to share the Gospel, take a moment to bow your head in reverent prayer. Seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, trusting in His ability to give you the words to speak and the wisdom to lead. In His presence, you will find the strength to overcome any obstacle and the grace to touch the hearts of those you serve.
Let us join our voices in humble supplication: O Holy Spirit, divine Comforter, and Guide, we beseech You to fill us with Your power as we bear witness to Your love in Reque. Anoint the ministry of the Roma Lee Courvisier School, that through their tireless efforts, lives may be transformed for Your glory alone. Grant us the courage to speak Your truth, the compassion to serve as You served, and the faith to trust in Your unfailing presence. We ask this in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
